Angelito Lapid is the owner of Lapids Korner Inc., which specializes in manufacturing Chicharon and selling them wholesale to Asian grocery stores.

His family in the Philippines also specializes in manufacturing Chicharon. This prompted him to take the leap of faith and try his family business in the States.

Driven by a desire for independence and inspired by his family's chicharon business in the Philippines, Angelito Lapid took a significant step in May 2021.

He established Lapids Korner Inc. and secured a facility on Avenue 25, enabling him to transition from serving small convenience stores to supplying Asian grocery stores with his manufactured chicharon on a wholesale basis.

This expansion marked a pivotal moment for Angelito, realizing his aspiration of owning his own company and moving beyond the limitations of working for others. What began as a solo endeavor is now a growing enterprise.
